FINANCE DIRECTOR

Role description

The Finance Director will oversee all financial operations of our company, providing strategic financial guidance and support. This role involves financial planning, costing, profitability analysis, risk management, record-keeping, and financial reporting. You will work closely with the executive team to provide insights and recommendations to drive INUI's growth and profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Shape and steer INUI's financial strategy and planning, ensuring alignment with business objectives for sustainable growth and profitability.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analyses and develop robust forecasting models to support strategic decisions, budgeting processes, and profitability optimization.
  • Implement and oversee cost and profitability analysis systems, identifying efficiency improvements and cost-saving opportunities across operations.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations for new business ventures, partnerships, contracts, and initiatives, ensuring financial viability and compliance.
  • Lead fundraising efforts and maintain strong relationships with investors, banks, financial institutions, and other stakeholders, representing INUI's financial interests effectively.
  • Cultivate a high-performing finance team, offering mentorship and fostering professional growth to support INUI's financial and operational objectives.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as Operations and HR, to support business initiatives and drive financial success.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, as well as internal controls and procedures.

Required Skills

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in financial management and analysis, with a proven track record in a leadership role, with a preference for experience in the tech or entertainment/Gaming industry.
  • Expertise in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting with the ability to convey complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Demonstrated success in fundraising and investor relations, with excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems, with excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Written and Spoken English is essential.
